As Christmas approaches, we are reminded of Jesus' coming to be with his people. Mary was given the privilege to bear the baby. The power of the Holy Spirit will conceive the child. She found favour with God. Her traits are:
A. She was a woman of faith
B. Lead a surrendered life
C. Reverance for God
D. Knew the scriptures
E. Intelligent and insightful
F. Needed salvation
Mary's Song - the Manificat
The song covers these 3 themes.
a. My soul glorifies the Lord
- pardon or forgiveness
b. God has performed mighty deeds
- victory
c. God has helped his servant Isreal
- covenant
Therefore, we worship God because of:
- Pardon
- Victory
- Covenant
